The NFT Explosion

May 24 2022–Jun 29 2022All Day

About the event

How much would you spend on a pair of one-of-a-kind sneakers you can’t wear? Or on concert tickets that you can’t go to? Would you by any chance have a few million dollars set aside for a unique piece of art you can’t hang? And what if these original, exclusive and rare works only existed as a digital image? Welcome to the world of NFTs.

Non-Fungible Tokens for every artistic expression are selling out online and changing the way we consume the arts. Our panel of artists, designers, curators and tech wizards will cast a critical eye on how a digital product is disrupting the real world of art – from creation to collection and exhibition to experience. They will discuss whether this signifies an end to forgery in art, piracy in music and “inspiration” in fashion; how a primarily Gen Z audience is changing the DNA of the arts; and ask if NFTs are even art?

Panel:
Rapper and Co-Founder OTP India, Jay Kila
Digital Fashion Designer, Sharannya V
VP, WazirX NFT Marketplace, Vishakha Singh
Co-Founder Hefty Art, Blockchain & NFT Enthusiast and Investor, Kanishq Chhabria
The session will be moderated by Founder Method Gallery, Sahil Arora
