Udayan Vajpeyi is a poet and writer of short stories, essays, and translations. His published works include collections of shorts stories– Sudeshna, Door Desh Ki Gandh; collections of poems – Kuchh Vakya, Pagal Ganitajna ki Kavitayen. He has translated renowned philosophers and authors worldwide, into Hindi. Beyond this, Vajpeyi has edited many magazines and journals; has lectured on the arts and literature in India and abroad. His work has been translated into several languages. He is a recipient of the Krishna Baldev Vaid Award (2001) and the Raza Foundation Award (2003). Udayan Vajpeyi lives and works in Bhopal.
