Book Launch | The Story of India’s Cheetahs by Divyabhanusinh

About The Event
The cheetah rose to eminence at the courts of medieval rulers, a predator-turned-pet which was trained to hunt with princes. And then the tables turned.
IFBE is delighted to invite all book lovers to the launch of The Story of India’s Cheetahs by Divyabhanusinh, who will be in conversation with Bachi Karkaria.
Divyabhanusinh is a past president of World Wide Fund for Nature-India (WWF). He was a member of the expert group which drafted “India’s National Wildlife Action Plan: 2017-2031” and also of the Government of India’s Cheetah Task Force for the animal’s reintroduction.
Bachi Karkaria is a senior journalist specialised in urban change and public health, a popular columnist, best-selling author, litfest curator and media trainer. She was the first Indian board member of the Paris-based World Editors Forum and is a Jefferson Fellow of the East West Centre, Honolulu.
