Who decides where you look?

Combining the work of Directors and Cinematographers, ‘Directing the Eye’ celebrates and analyses the evolution of visual storytelling in cinema. The event highlights the singular relationship between Directors and their DOPs – and the marriage of the two that ultimately makes or breaks a film.

The event will feature a conversation with two young and exceptional filmmakers – Director Achal Mishra and DOP Anand Bansal. Together, they have collaborated on two critically acclaimed films – Gamak Ghar and Dhuin – which will feature heavily in the discussion of their work and their approach towards the filmmaking medium.
